Grease trap service. Besides offering full-trap pumping, a more effective manner of cleaning the traps than simply “skimming off” some grease from the top, we also generally are able to schedule service during hours of store closure or during the slowest times for 24-hour stores. We do not chacterize the grease trap products as waste because nearly 100% is utilized as a fuel or soil amenity. This is costlier than land-filling, but better for our environment.
Maintaining your grease trap with periodic pumping is one of the best things kitchen operators can do for the environment. Keeping the trap clean and clear of brown grease and food scraps means more of these products are kept out of the sewer system and out of the environment. Grease not only clogs up city sewers, but only a small percentage of grease that reaches the plant is treated. Most is carried through into the receiving stream. Sewer plants have limits on the amount they can discharge and as the amount increases, the tougher they are on the kitchen (restaurant) operators. But why discharge grease just because you can.
Most additives sold for your trap are not nearly as effective at digesting grease in the tank as they are in the lab. Some additives simply keep the grease in suspension long enough to “clear” the trap. They are all expensive.
When you purchase our full trap pumping, all grease and food are removed to keep the trap in good order. Then instead of your waste entering a sewer system and the environment, we use it. The brown grease can be used as boiler fuel, reducing petroleum demands. The food waste is composted and used as a soil amenity, thereby reducing commercial fertilizer use. And the nutrient rich water is used for irrigation during the growing season.

About Us
We are a small family business with about 20 employees. John and Della Crosier founded crosier’s Sanitary Service in 1964. While both are still active, day-to-day operations are now the responsibility of their son Ron Crosier.
